Karen L. Maatta is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors degree in Health Services Administration from St. Mary's College, Moraga, California. She is a Care Manager with fifteen years of experience in both community-based and payer-based care management, as well as a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner through the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners. Ms. Maatta is currently the owner of Continuing Care Concepts, a private care management and life care planning service. Ms. Maatta is currently a member of the Case Management Society of America, the American Society on Aging, and the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners. She has participated as a speaker or panelist on a variety of topics for educational seminars and training classes in various parts of the United States.
